Abortion

There is nothing worse than abortion.  First i will start by proving that a fetus is human.  A fetus is an unborn human of more than 2 mos gestational age.  A fetus also can feel pain, something that even an unconscious person of any age can’t do.  Does that make it right to kill an unconscious person, even if they are unconscious for less than a minute.  No, of course not, they will wake up at some point, as long as they get help, meaning they are completely dependant on other people until they awaken.  If you kill a person who is unconscious, you will be charged with murder.  One might say, okay, they are feeling the pain of their mother, so they are simply an appendage of the mother.  Wrong!!  They can feel pain the mother can’t, and vice versa.  That is because all fetuses have brains.

Now to prove that an embryo and a zygote are independent humans and not appendages.  Both have their own DNA, so they can only be their own person.  If they are not, then to whose person do they belong.  They are not simply their mother, nor their father, nor anybody else.

Now I will go over the reasons of why people abort and why it is wrong.  One reason is that they “don’t have enough money.”  So, essentially, they are killing for the purpose of money and only money.  That is like a person killing their spouse only to get their spouse’s money.  That is premeditated murder, and of course, against the law.  The second reason is that they simply don’t want to take care of a baby because it would eat into their own time.  So they want to kill someone for yet another selfish reason.  For both of the above reasons, a simple solution is to adopt it away.  Another reason teenage mothers give for abortions is that they don’t want to get in trouble with their parents.  Okay, but that still doesn’t justify killing a human being.  Some people abort because the child will turn out to be a special needs child.  Does that inherently mean that the child doesn’t want to live.  Nobody knows the thoughts of others (except for maybe psychics, maybe, if you believe in them), so of course not.  Another reason people give is they were victims of rape or incest.  They want to protect their dignity, but as i explained in “The Basic Human Rights,” you still can’t kill a person for that reason, no matter how horrible.

Any questions or intelligent debate is encouraged and appreciated.
